No game is easy for a cup quarter final.

More worried about it being on Sunday. A full Mother’s Day programme already planned including my daughter’s drama performance and lunch with wife, daughter and my mum.
Looks like you'll have to send your eldest with the beer money.

Well we currently have Villa on the Tuesday, so either our game is Saturday or Villa moves.

You know Mrs GB. She’s a fair and reasonable woman who understands my football addiction. She’d also put my balls in a vice if I missed Whirlwind’s acting debut and left her with my mother.

That was a decent draw for us, it'll probably be Forest, but being at home really helps.

My money is on the Friday 8pm slot then. 🤬

That sounds like her. Yes, Mrs GB is a fabulous woman, forthright and thoroughly reasonable with it. Although she may not fancy another night out on the lash with me. I think it took her ten years to recover from the last one. Then again, we were young. These days I'd be offering her a cup of tea and a biscuit rather than a pint of Echo Falls.

Saturday tea time would be a nice kick off.

I would guess that a neutral football fan might have less interest in Brighton v Forest (Ipswich) than the other ties

Maybe that will affect the game's TV schedule.

It looks like there are games played the following week for all of the teams except Preston.

All on Tuesday, apart from Manchester City and Crystal Palace.

So I'm going for Fulham v Crystal Palace and Bournemouth v Manchester City to be Sunday.

I'm always right on these things. Except when I'm not.
