[Albion] Rest Players vs Newcastle?

Do we see the international break as a rest period when in fact for some of our players it’s the opposite? They have to fly half way round the world, train, play and fly back again.
Play them and then if they're tired pull them from international duty; isn't that the way to do it?

Not the time to keep players happy, rotate etc. This is the sharp end of elite football so play the best 11 (based on training/form). Irrespective of who you are in the club (skipper/fan favourite) you play if you deserve to. Injuries are part of football and you cannot second guess when they’ll occur.
Exactly this, start the same 11 as last night (injuries permitting)

As others have said… barring any injuries 100% we have to stick with what is working at the moment.

Other than Tuesdays battle with B’mouth, we have been playing one game per week with the next 5 weeks only having 3 games.

If we have any hope of getting back into Europe and holding our own then we have to get used to playing the best 11 regularly.

I got very excited when I saw Isak was off the team sheet last night but the cynical side of me says that was somewhat tactical and he will be in fine fettle for both Sunday and their Carabao Cup final in a few weeks.

Hopefully 4 games rather than 3

...there is a fair chance I will miss the final as I am down to have my knee replaced in May.
Not sure how to break this to you H, but its highly unlikely you'd have been selected anyway.

In fact I don't think you'd even make the bench, tbh.

Depends on whether we get any more injuries

i think we have to rest a few and give a few much needed game time.

I would make 6 or 7 changes.

3 weeks ago i would have said play strongest 11. Things change quickly.

Very unlikely Newcastle would prioritise the FA Cup over pushing for a Champions League place I'd have thought.
