I’m a big fan of boxing but this sort of thing just turns me right off.
I would quite like them to be respectful and decent to each other pre-fight otherwise it turns it into wrestling.

Living off the name of their dads, neither son anywhere near the levels their fathers reached. All a bit pathetic really.

It's certainly reaching BOILing point. I wonder if Eubank will be POACHED by a different management team after that.
I'm certainly getting mixed/SCRAMBLED messages.

Benn has a 300 odd page dossier about how he is innocent, but failed to release it yet.
I've been lucky enough to see a copy

So much of modern boxing is cringeworthy.

People liked Mike Tyson when he turned up with no fuss, wore black and just got on with being a boxer.

These silly events are pathetic. Ages before the bout and nowhere near it geographically.

Boxing promoters have ruined it.

Boxing is the best it’s been since the Saudis and uncle turkey got involved . Some of the fights getting regularly made are off the scale . Real Boxing fans are pinching themselves

Mike Tyson's promoter was Don King! He created this monster. He makes Eddie Hearn look like a philanthropist.

It was just Mike’s dating habits that raised a few eyebrows.

Some years ago when he was on one of his UK promo tours, was offered the chance by Scott Welch to have a meet, greet and eat with Tyson at an Italian Restaurant in Shoreham, the price was within my budget but it was one of the few times that I bowed to a good old fashioned bit of Petticoat Management from Mrs Hart and declined the offer.

Not sure what to make of this. It feels a bit like a YouTube boxing match, ie a couple of celebrities and a manufactured beef…. albeit with real boxers. I wonder whether the crowd will be mostly fight fans or TikTok followers.

To be fair, if young Mr Hearn told me today was Thursday, I'd go out and purchase a newspaper just to make sure.

I’m no a massive boxing fan, however, it seems to me that it’s a case of two boxers (not at world class level) living off the back of their phenomenally more talented fathers. Those two fights back in day were out of this world.

I can't believe 70,000 paying spectators will buy into this, not to mention the PPV buys, two very average boxers with the right surnames.
Reported on TS earlier that they had 94.000 people logged into the pre sale queue so expect it will go early on actual general sale if there are any left.

Coked up boxing tourists getting the chance to get their pints poured from the bottom up simply sells!

Plus the add ons, all those email addresses they can sell on to marketing companies.

Older NSCers will recall Bellotti sold all the Goldstone season ticket data base, back then names and addresses, to a number of companies including DFS:mad:

Benn doesn't look like a natural Middleweight, a supermiddle v Welter will only go one way
