Not sure this thread is appropriate considering the health of The Pope.
It's their fault the child abusers keep electing an old git to hide their priests.

You're thinking of John Paul II. The last one was Benedict, wasn't it? Can't remember where he was from.

But JP was a keeper, definitely (John Paul, I mean, not João Pedro).
Corned beef land wasn't it?

Fairy nuff. Let's just say that 'popes of the last 30 years' wouldn't be my specialist subject on Mastermind!

I think he'll be off to the Saints in a Ramsdale + cash deal.
Surely he'll get a gig with a PL team, probably a promoted one. I tell you what sounds like a plan: Burnley, in a part exchange with Trafford.

He's played there before with enormous success and they won't mind his lack of kicking ability.

Newcastle United will listen to offers for England goalkeeper, 32, in the summer. (Football Insider)

I wonder if a swap deal for Trafford at Burnley is on the cards?

Or replacement for Sanchez at Chelsea?
Like his omnipotent master, he transitions in mysterious ways.

Whatever gave you that idea?
