Really surprised by the results of this. 7.30pm is a real rush for me and my son to get there from work and last night was traffic carnage getting into the car parks so we sat down bang on kick off. It basically leaves no wriggle room if there is any kind of traffic problem.

Might have been 815pm - which is the other KO option in this Gameweek. Cos all the games are on TV - although not sure why it’s not 545pm and 745pm as per Europe.
Premier league game would not be 5:45pm - those European games are usually (not always) in countries in different time zones so it is at least 6:45pm or even 7:45pm local time which still gives people time to get to a game after work. Not sure Sky or TNT would want kick offs that early either.

Don’t mind. Saturday at 8pm is shit though.
Went to Hamburg v Kaiserslautern last Friday evening.

5.30 kick off !

Sold out (close on 60k for a Div 2 game) and no one left before the end.

Amazing atmosphere

Kaiserslauten has over 3,000 fans there (600 km and 6.1/2 hour drive)

I guess we're not the only country where TV dictates stupid KO times.

19:30. Works for me as I'm retired. Accept it can make things tricky if you have to get to the ground from your work.

Have to say that with the last two matches being evening games, I had anticipated the trains being more of an arse. That they haven't been quite so bad, despite the usual post match three coach chuggers, perhaps suggests that a fair number of people may be voting with their feet for evening games.

There were a good number of empty seats around me and the concourses have been quieter.

They are all a nightmare for us from a transport POV. We can't get to the Amex by public transport so we drive and use car park C. The frankly rather poor stewarding on evening games is poorer than daytime games. Probably due to fewer people hanging around at the ground after evening games meaning more people trying to get out of the car park straight after the game. Last night it took the longest it ever has, in fact we got home later than we usually do after an 8pm game.

Funnily though, 3 of the AFCB supporters coaches had got lost in the university campus (UoS) and ended up right at the top of the site trying to turn around in very small spaces. No idea how they even got onto the campus, fair dos to them being able to turn around, but I bet they didn't expect it would take almost one hour (55 minutes) to travel about half a mile up Boiler House Hill and round the Eastern Ring Road to get to the A27.

I have been to a few games at 5:30 on Friday as well, feels a bit weird. . Most, if not all, of the Bundeliga 2 games are at strange times so they do not clash with the top flight games. I'm not sure if this is neccessarily due to TV though.... I was told this is because they simply do not want Bundesliga 2 games to clash with the Bundesliga 1, although I have never looked to see if this reason is true. But, if you look at this weekend's fixutures for example...you will see none clash.

Evening games will always have empty seats in the ESL with the family stand meaning younger kids don't go.

Few people go to work or if they do it’s often WFH.

In the good old days, I remember nearly all evening games would kick off at 7:30pm.
Then somehow 7:45pm became the norm.
And now for TV 8pm is more popular.
We were only 7:30 because TNT set different start times in the hope people switch over to the later starting games to maximise viewing figures.
