Awful news. Like others, didn't know him personally but regularly interacted with him on here.

How very sad. Every loss like this diminishes our little community as well of course as that of his loved ones, he sounds like a great guy. He’s at peace now. RIP.

Such awful news.
wishing my condolences to all his friends and family

i know it may sound very crass and I don’t mean it to be, but it would be nice for, if a fellow Albion fan passes that those of us who have been watching the lads for years home and away, someone could post a picture of them so we can recognise them. Most people on here over the years have met each other at games, but as the internet works, we only know them by their monika on here.
If you look up the username and scroll through a few pages of his posts there are some nice pix that he posted on NSC over Christmas. I didn't feel comfortable copying and pasting, not least because I didn't know the bloke.

RIP Andy - I don't think we ever knowingly met but his posts across a range of topics always seemed to be balanced and well thought out. He will be missed on here.

In the world of various social media forums including NSC, I have known Andy, Seagull Wedgee, for what must be now 20 plus years. It's a world that we rarely met in person yet knew each other and chatted a lot due to our passion for the Albion. He battled various health issued, yet seemed to come out strong each time. He could be controversial but he was a man with a heart of gold. Farewell my football chat friend it was an honor to have met you on the forums and football chat, be it WhatsApp and message boards will not be the same without you. My deep felt sympathy to his wife and family most of whom are Albion fans.
