Watched on a river. It was great to hear a couple of the old chants.

Glory Glory Brighton and Hove Albion and the LA LA Song (We all follow Brighton and Hove Albion) Pity they aren't sung more often.

Was one of the best away atmospheres Iā€™ve experienced in a while. Seemed like the whole section was singing in unison. Saints go marching DOWN and JPVH song seemed especially loud the many times they were sung. Songs for quite a few different players sung too.

Absolutely brilliant day out. Best awayday for a good while.

Atmosphere was brilliant, helped by us being good and them being shit, but also helped by many getting together for a vocal warm up in Yatesā€™s.

Iā€™m not often a fan of the ā€œdesignated away pubā€ (the one in Wolverhampton is DREADFUL) but it seemed to help yesterday.

Moving the away end was also a decent result. Iā€™m sure they wanted away fans away from cameras and their singers but safe standing helped the atmosphere, good size concourse with fast moving queue and the ability to go out for a smoke / vape. Iā€™m really going to miss it as an away day next season. Iā€™m not sure that was the effect they wanted when they moved it. Even managed a pre match chat with the legendary @Lenny Rider

The dull part of the south coast
As an Albion fan living in Southampton yesterday was absolutely perfect. Instead of my usual near on two hour train trek to Brighton for a home fixture I had to endure a ten minute bus ride to the pub to meet all my Albion pals. So with an 11.30 first pint things went south in a big way - but wonderfully so! I just seemed to bump into Brighton fans who sit around me in the West Upper both in the pub and on the way to the ground.

As for the game and the atmosphere I reckon the Gods of Football smiled on us ā€œGo stuff them boys!ā€ seemed to be the message - the team and the fans responded accordingly. Just a fantastic day all round! :drink:  :ascarf:
