This.0 goals conceded in 225 minutes of football since he replaced Dunk at half time of the Chelsea cup game.
He’s looking really impressive.

True, and whilst he is a great defender, let's not forget it was his mistake that got Chelsea back into that game!!The last time we conceded with Webby on the pitch was actually Chelsea away back in September…
Obviously a lot of this is due to injury, but he was very solid against Arsenal, Norwich & Ipswich in January
I think though Drew, we were destined to lose that one anyway. I remember that Palmer’s free-kick was only taken about 10m closer to goal than it should have been!True, and whilst he is a great defender, let's not forget it was his mistake that got Chelsea back into that game!!
Why can’t we forget it?True, and whilst he is a great defender, let's not forget it was his mistake that got Chelsea back into that game!!
A run in the team yes. But for both players, confidence in body and fitness holding up, i think has been massiveShows what a run in the team does, the same can be said for Lamptey both looking much better with games under their belts
You're right, all defenders make mistakes and I didn't mention it as a stick to beat Webster with. There seems to be loads of posts where people ignore the fact they are all human. People suggesting Dunk is past it or that Igor (when fit) should start ahead of him etc etc.Why can’t we forget it?
All defenders make mistakes, but yes, he is a great defender. Such a shame he has been hampered by injury.
The gods weren't smiling on us that day.I think though Drew, we were destined to lose that one anyway. I remember that Palmer’s free-kick was only taken about 10m closer to goal than it should have been!
good shout, and those two seem to be working very well together.Shows what a run in the team does, the same can be said for Lamptey both looking much better with games under their belts
As I recall, Webster cleared 2 off the line and Sanchez made two saves...The gods weren't smiling on us that day.
Colwill has had a really poor season at Chelsea but will still get selected on potential. Likewise Taylor Harwood-Bellis who has been equally ordinary but is young and came from Man City, ergo the assumption is that he must be a genius.England aren’t blessed with outstanding CB’s with an intelligent game. Would love Tuchel to call him up at some stage.
Great, but he still gave the ball away for the first goal. He's human just like the rest of the team.As I recall, Webster cleared 2 off the line and Sanchez made two saves...
