I was on a flight back from Colombia so might have been tricky. Managed to avoid the score and watch the whole replay on peacock after the game had finished

Southampton tactics were suicidal. Man marking players who were more capable in every position. Playing a high line allowing us to run between their central defenders almost at will.

Ayari has progressed a lot but I think Gomez looks a better player from his appearances. Stronger, faster, more direct, great assist yesterday for Minteh, better in the tackle, gives the ball away less. I think we’ll need him in the team at Newcastle away with their psychicality in their midfield 3.
