0 goals conceded in 225 minutes of football since he replaced Dunk at half time of the Chelsea cup game.

He’s looking really impressive.

The last time we conceded with Webby on the pitch was actually Chelsea away back in September…

Obviously a lot of this is due to injury, but he was very solid against Arsenal, Norwich & Ipswich in January

True, and whilst he is a great defender, let's not forget it was his mistake that got Chelsea back into that game!!

Very solid again yesterday albeit with the caveat that the opponents were absolute garbage. That said, Dibling has terrified a few defences this season, and I thought Webster in particularly managed him perfectly. Barely gave him a sniff.

And whisper it quietly, in the 8 games he has started this season we have won 7 of them, 87.5% win ratio!! (caveat 3 of them were against Crawley, Wolves and Norwich in the Cup, but never let facts get in the way of a good stat;)).

p.s. Minteh's up there in terms of a good win % as well with 9 out of his 13 starts ending up in a win for a 69.2% success ratio and Hinsh is the other player with a 60% or better ratio, his is currently 9 wins from 15 starts = 60%. Defo Kiss of Death for Tuesday now......sorry🤐

Why can’t we forget it?
All defenders make mistakes, but yes, he is a great defender. Such a shame he has been hampered by injury.

You're right, all defenders make mistakes and I didn't mention it as a stick to beat Webster with. There seems to be loads of posts where people ignore the fact they are all human. People suggesting Dunk is past it or that Igor (when fit) should start ahead of him etc etc.

He's always been a very good CB.
More than that he's a top bloke and a born l
If he hadn't had the injury problems, Van Hecke and Colwill would never have been given a chance.

England aren’t blessed with outstanding CB’s with an intelligent game. Would love Tuchel to call him up at some stage.
Colwill has had a really poor season at Chelsea but will still get selected on potential. Likewise Taylor Harwood-Bellis who has been equally ordinary but is young and came from Man City, ergo the assumption is that he must be a genius.
