They won’t low block
I think they will low block. Martin was sacked and is jogging around Preston Park now. It’s by far the most effective tactic against us and unlike the vast majority of their matches this seasons (except their Amex draw perhaps), they won’t be giving away any easy goals.

This is not like facing a Big Six at the Amex (W4 D1). In these games against bottom teams, we get blocked out, we miss chances and we lose morale and momentum through utter frustration. We give away horrific goals and face very poor refereeing decisions.

I genuinely believe we have a better chance away at Man City where we won’t face the low-block.

Nerves will be jangling ahead of the latest instalment of this ancient South Coast Derby that can trace its origins all the way back to 827AD, when Subseaxna Albion drew 1-1 with a West Saxon all-star XI, featuring none other than Ethelred the Unready in goal.

As the match moved into time added on for plague deaths, the the West Saxons were leading 1-0 when Ethelred was beaten at his near post by a quickly taken free kick and the bitter rivalry we know today was born.

I do believe this post leans into a Trump like nature. Make-believe.

Considering our form against lower league sides, this has a draw written all over it, however I'm hoping it'll be more like Ipswich (A) rather than any of our other games against the bottom three.
