Yeah, I'd be pretty sure they are exchange seats, but I kinda doubt they are getting them off the official ticket website. I did wonder if the club has created some kind of interface in Japanese to sell them easily, but in most probability they are getting them off a third party ticket reseller.

Just watched it again, and was thinking of the Forest Japanese fan video which is very similar (although not with such a good story as Kazuo's) and all of sudden, there he is. Well, 99% sure it's him.
