Reading a light and interesting story on the Beeb pages, I wondered how much time we spend focused on the negative aspects of life. Also in NSC, bad news often gets brought here. But what about the light and happy stuff ?
So I thought to start a thread where folk can share light, funny and happy stories as often as wanted. You'd be surprised how spending a while reading good stuff can raise your mood.
So I'll start with the Desertas Island snails. Thought to be extinct a long time ago. Found, made safe and repatriated to a safe home.
The funniest line was (the colour code) 'will allow us to spot them and track where they disperse to..' I wouldn't worry too much about that. If you return six months later I'm guesing they won't have gone far

Why tiny snails are being set free on remote Desertas Islands near Madeira
Conservationists released the critically endangered snails to help restore a remote island habitat.
