Wakey wakey. My point entirely. So Southampton doormen could differentiate between a rounded southern Sussex accent and a where’s my tractor Southampton accent. The poster who originally mentioned about accents is spot on.
You could try Raven and Bine in Carlton Place, it's a Dancing Man Brewery pub, has a great garden, not too far from the ground, relatively. You could even pop into Piecaramba on the way, on the same road. It's a 15-20 minute wander from the station. If you don't wear colours i assume it's alright. Overdraft is on the same street, that's an excellent craft pub, sells decent Tacos.That was my original thoughts and question
I’ll be in Yates for ease as much as anything else on the way from the station to the ground. I wouldn’t choose it on a night out these days but for a matchday it’s fine and the best option for away fans IMO.
And it always brings back memories of me winning a crate of blue WKD (
) for winning a karaoke contest singing Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me on a random night out about 20 years ago!
