I was sat in my seat in the East Upper and there was a row of seven Japanese fans close to the front of the East Lower, all with Mitoma shirts on. Their reaction when he scored that goal was just bananas. Loved it.
I’m still buzzing about it now and I wasn’t even there! The idea when we were watching Barndoor Billy that we’d ever see a player in the stripes able to do that is mind boggling to me

What a wonderful way to start the day. These are a good video. So glad they made you happy, Charlie.

I read all the posts, and thought why are these people saying they have a tear in their eyes when watching this, and of course I nearly held out, but the tears came when Charlie met Mitoma towards the end of the video.

At times everyone moans at the club, but this type of thing, they just do very well.

Charlie will be getting my vote for supporter of the year.

What a lovely man Charlie is, and what a fantastic film. I know most other clubs do wonderful things for their fans from all different circumstances, near and far, but somehow we seem to do it just a bit better.

That is just absolutely sensational.

And now I want to know more: what brought Charlie to Brighton in 1973? See, it was a very cosmopolitan place then as well - not that much has changed. What a legend. Bring him back! Or maybe he’s still in the queue for the park and ride.

You're not wrong but isn't this one done by the Premier League obviously with the club's help?

Wow! These are an outstanding story and birthday present for Charlie.

In a world that can seem dark, bleak and full of hatred, videos like that can't help but make it feel just a little bit better. NSC could do with Charlie – he must have some amazing Albion memories – from Brighton and Japan.
