Regarding Kadioglu..

Ferdi Kadioglu is not expected to return to match action anytime soon according to men’s first team head coach Fabian Hurzeler.

The Turkey international’s last Premier League appearance came at the beginning of November.
"He's unfortunately still a long way off,” Hurzeler said in his pre-Chelsea press conference on Thursday.

“It's still the same injury, so it seemed to be a small injury, but in that case it turns into a big injury, and therefore we have to go step for step.

“He's doing his rehab, he's doing his process, so it's all fine. There are no other complications about his injury, but it will take time until he's back on the pitch unfortunately.”

Is that anything new? We kind of knew he was done for the season (or most of it) didnt we?

No, but I suppose someone asked him for an update.

To be fair, he seems to confirm that Milner is out for the foreseeable future every week! Not sure who's enquiring

The Times has a good article on the grind of games and how injuries are blighting the product.
No coincidence that most of the sides up top are those that play intense, pressing games.

Add into the mix the team that does it with 18 year olds……

I don't think the club had put that much of a recovery time line for Ferdi out publicly. We'd managed to work out he was likely out for most if not all of the season based on what was reported about his injury in the Turkish press, but this is the first time I can remember the manager actually saying he's going to be out for a long time.

I spoke briefly with Pervis last night. He told me he had now fully recovered & was ‘ready to play’

I also spoke to Ferdi who said he’s slowly recovering but not yet.
Any chance you could phone up Dunky and let us know what the deal is?

Veltman and Welbeck are now injured. Will we ever be able to put out an unchanged team?
I just don’t think FH/The club are admitting that they are resting players.

I read these injuries as meaning the players are not capable of playing at their best on Saturday and Tuesday. FH is gambling today. Let’s hope we don’t miss the pair.
