Been a while since the authorities have managed to squeeze one of these in and I'm glad to see it.

Particularly 9am starts and getting through the tournament in under 3 weeks.

Anyway, NZ going along at a run a ball near the end of their innings against the hosts.

Which Pakistan will turn up to bat?

Big ask for Afghanistan. 316.

Sloppy fielding probably cost them 20+ runs and their spinners didn't have any impact.

4 times out of 5 SA win this one.

too early in the tournament for South Africa to choke.

AFG 4 down early in the chase. Think this one is all over bar the over-sized singer belting out the notes.

Aussies fluffed their lines against Sri Lanka coming into this competition. A SL side that didn't even qualify for the tournament.

Yes, Starc has opted out of this tournament. Cummins, Hazelwood and Marsh all injured. Stoinis not playing ODIs anymore. What a good time to play them. But this is England, I'm taking nothing for granted!
