I went in the home end (side reallly) to watch Saints v Ipswich last year, in amongst some furtive Tractor Boys and it was just as safe, sanitised and friendly as the Amex, and I presume that being PL will be even more so now.

If you really want to blend in with the home fans, they have a quite hefty repertoire of homophobic songs, for which you'll need to learn the lyrics.

So how many went undercover in the home end today?

Winning 4-0 helps but I can’t help but feel slightly disappointed that we didn’t win 7/8-0 considering the chances we had and how easy it was - felt like we was playing a L1/L2 team in the cup - it should have been 4-0 at half-time
I’m assuming it was everyone left in their end at the final whistle.

Four of us in the corner diagonally opposite the Albion end. Had the suspicion we weren’t the only ones too! ;)

I was in the corner of their stand where we attacked first half.
Yes easily should have been 4.0 half time .

Did I celebrate anything? No. (Inside only)
Did I miss celebrating and singing - Yes definitely
Would I do it again ? YES Better than sat at home doing nothing
Especially when game is 25 miles away it helps

A most enjoyable afternoon.
After the Chelsea fans exited early to get home to their Valentine's last week, I can only imagine that this week the Southampton fans must have wanted to get home to see the Calcutta Cup clash.

As is usual at Southampton went in home end with business contacts who are ST holders. Great day but frustrating to stay seated when we scored

Spent the afternoon in Saints hospitality. Behaved myself and stayed humble. In general Saints fans are decent football fans. They like us, appreciate fans who support their local teams. A few times I fessed up to being a Brighton fan and was treated very well.

The Saints fans I was with were not happy with the lack of fight and effort from their team.

They are a decent club.
