EON were crazy not to have a plan B, I suspect they thought Babs and Mike would go on forever. With no family coming from behind the sale was inevitable at some point.

With a family business being handed over to corporate scum, watch the franchise go down the shitter with lots of spin offs and tv series ala Star Wars.

Bond died with Craig.

Expect an established (A lister) actor be named in new lead role.

RIP Mr Bond.

Well I guess we can now expect a Blofeld origin story, a Q spin-off series, a bunch of other Double-O spies, some sort of vintage Bond from the 1920s and all the usual shite we get with this

For sure that’s at least one future Bond film where they won’t need to look for a villain to cast.

Maybe even 2 or 3.

They are absolutely going to give us a canonical answer as to why James Bond's face changes every few years and it's going to piss everyone off.

And they'll do it during some sort of prequel series that nobody has ever asked for.

It's be interesting. The franchise was growing incredibly repetitive and stale before Craig took over, and even his latter films started to fall back on the same old tropes.

Be interesting to see if they can make a Bond that works in 2025. If not, it may have been better to just let the franchise die.

Yeah they'll probably do something stupid and artisticly lacking as spending a whole film aping one of their best old ones( like OHMSS) and then desperately kill him off at the end. Let's hope it doesn't get that bad
