Must be one of the few bands where most of us could reel off all their tracks and, at the absolute least, have a passing administration for. For me it's so much more, hardly a week goes by and I'm not playing one of their tracks. They are eternal.

I remember Going Underground entering at number 1. I got home from school and my brother told me that Tuesday lunchtime. It had been announced on Newsbeat before the Tuesday chart. I refused to believe him.

Great music, great memories. A third now gone. I suppose we're at that time now and can become desensitised. But this one stands out. RIP Rick.

I had the privilege of seeing the Jam a few times. I went to hundreds of gigs and they were up there with the best of them. Rarely a week goes by when I dont listen to their songs.
RIP Rick

Loved the Jam, saw them 4 times including their last ever at the Centre. Rick was such an energetic drummer whilst still looking unshakeably cool. God bless you RB and RIP.

I feel privileged to have seen the Jam live 5 times.
They were never Paul Weller and 2 backing musicians, they were one of the best three piece bands of all time, each member crucial to the magic they produced.

RIP Rick, drummer extraordinaire.
RIP Rick

Were you there 11/12/82?

Sadly I wasn’t, getting nicked instead coming back on the Clifton Coach from Oxford vs Worthing😂
