Actually, he claimed he said f*** off as an expression of frustration rather than directing it at the ref. Ancelloti explained the difference between f off and f you to the press. However, the fact he said it in response to the ref's decision doesn't give him much of a leg to stand on

I did admire him as a player thought he was getting Billy big bollocks for England which put me off a bit.
I went to a game there this season. The ‘Gibraltar is Spanish’ scarves being sold outside the ground was enough to put me off. Nearly got into a heated ‘discussion’ with one of the sellers, my missus encouraged me to leave it!
