An Orchid disguised as a Daffodil!
Had my lunch here today (12.41pm if you're still looking at the 'when do you have lunch?' thread). I was wondering how many meals had been eaten here over the years. The roof fell in about 30 years ago apparently - but how long it was deserted before that isn't known.
And it was at the end of a beautiful lonning - so that made me wonder when the last cart went along it.

Great photo. And personally - I prefer it as it is, it shows the total concentration and watching the ball / making sure it goes in the right place.
Don't usually photograph animals but couldn't resist this one. Taken yesterday in Mar del Plata, Argentina. These sea lions come ashore every morning on a fisherman's wharf at the port and bask all day in the sun. The aroma is pungent to say the least.

Here's one from the famous (African Inspired) Desfile de Llamadas Carnival in Montevideo over the weekend. Been researching it for months, couldn't get a seat, balcony or photo pass when I arrived and had to stand for hours in the intense heat to secure a spot at the barrier. By the time the first comparsa (parade group) came by at 8pm I had been dying for a slash for hours and was dehydrated as I hadn't been drinking enough and was subsequently wiped out. Very disappointed with the overall results as my pictures subsidise the trips I do, this, however, is one of the better ones.
