We have won 8 PL games this season, he has scored or assisted (or both) in six of those wins as well as scoring the winner against Chelsea. He’s not been under performing he’s been our most impactful player.
Don’t deny he’s been one of our most impactful players in a number of games but him and the others have been very average in quite a few games imo. All about opinions

He is a brilliant player though, no denying. He also seems to be the least money driven star we have ever had too

Voted Joel and Georgi, but would always have Welbz on my list too. Love all 3 of them.
But Joel is pole position for my player of the season vote and seeing him snap Cucurrella had me cheering as loud as when we scored ! If he can do Cucurrella again on Friday and the little runt doesn’t get back up this time then this totally seals the POTS award for me !

Hinshelwood for me he's a pleasure to watch and getting better, nothing better for me to see a lad make it through the academy, the way he's progressing you can't really put a value figure on him but if he gets a clean bill of health for the rest of the season other clubs will definitely start to notice him, loved the clip of him on Buzz boot room quiz when he was asked if he'd do it again next season he beamed a smile and said well yes! that means I'll still be here 👍

Funny/Sad there hasn't been one mention for Dunk. I really hope his career with us just doesn't fade away. I don't think we will ever see a player like him again.
I know what you mean, but I went with current favourite per the title, so if Dunky heads in the winner in the 99th minute on Friday night, I’d have voted for him instead.

I’m one if the few people here who finds Veltman quite an embarrassment. A bit like Pedro, a really decent player on his day but cheats too much. Give me honest, hard-working talent like Mitoma, Lamptey, Baleba, Hinshelwood, March, Welbeck etc. All twice the player and the twice the man that Veltman is. Rutter can be a bit theatrical too but he’s still on the right side of the line so he’d be far and away my preference here.

I must say, the range of names on this thread is a testimony to a set of players who are obviously about as skilled as any we’ve ever had but who do come across as a notably decent bunch of individuals too. This may not matter too much to some but I appreciate it: the no dickheads rule makes the bond with them all the stronger: I want the likes of Lamptey or Veltman to do well for themselves as well as for the club (errr obviously as long as that doesn’t involve them leaving).

I guess the best way to enforce a no dickheads policy is by selling the worst dickheads to Chelsea. For insane amounts of money.

For me its Solly March, although if you'd asked me last year it was definitely Pascal Gross. I miss the cruyff turns:cry:

My son is 100% Kaoru Mitoma and he's even bought a Mitoma Japan shirt to wear at the Australia-Japan world cup qualifier here in Perth later in the year. Will be interesting to see the reception he gets.

My daughter who is a left back says Poppy Pattinson is her favourite Brighton player closely followed by Lewis Dunk.
