Seems a waste to me that somebody with that much of an eye for goal, which is the hardest thing to find in football, leaves the industry at the end of his playing career. Presumably he is OK with that though.

I guess he’s suitably locomotivated for this career change.

Good luck to him. Almost nice in a way to see that not all footballers these days end their careers never having to work again! Bit like the old days when they bought a pub or a corner shop with their testimonial money!
Still, being a pro footballer AND a train driver - every little boy's dream innit!
