I loved it on its release in the mid 1980s so the context is glaringly obvious.
Very sadly much of it is still relevant 40 years later even if key personnel have changed
Still love it now

Can you explain to me what exactly this is all about?

I only ask because I’m unsure what side she is really coming down - the Irish, the British or the whole Troubles and the pointlessness of indiscriminate killing. I think it was about a specific IRA bombing?

In the week where it was announced that Grenfell Tower is to be demolished, this is well worth revisiting.

An incredible, moving show of strength in support of those killed and affected by the Grenfell fire.

I still find myself getting angry and emotional every time I hear this, and watch the video.
