yep. Friday evening through to midday Saturday has both lowish upper air (7-c to -8C) over us and some precipitation. Not ideal, but close as we're likely to get for snow. Top of The Downs would likely see snow.

Did you get your weather station fixed/replaced? I've toyed with the idea of one linked to wunderground for possibly 10 years, I never get round to it.

Newmarket.
Love the snow.
Have waited for ages and seen none up here in Newmarket for such a long while.
Snow predicted between possibly Friday night and Monday am.
I'm flying to Cyprus early Saturday and returning Monday am.
Bum!!

Us Wadhurst & Crowborough residents may see some then
We are around 500 - 600ft above sea level

I saw a bumble bee on the downs earlier. He or she (could've been a lady) didn't seem to know it isn't Spring yet.

Had some sleet in Durrington recently. Anything white inland?

Nope, cold rain and a bit of soft hail in the one showers earlier. Hoping we get that renewed push of colder air early next week. However models are all over the place, might be better to just look out of the window and see what's falling over the next couple of weeks! :giggle:

Agreed. This was always at best marginal. But were the renewed push from the east to occur that could be very cold air (below -10c at 850hpa).

There's a battleground going between the Atlantic and the Nordic High pressure system, so our weather is determined by basically who wins. The forecasts are hugely affected as well by what happens with the MJO, and this isn't being forecasted brilliantly at the moment either! So lots going on at the moment.

The weather from mid month onwards is about as uncertain as it can get.

Is this the same as Trump trying to take over Greenland?
