So, after letting go of three scouts in November, we are re-recruiting.

I just checked where the scouts we let go ended up:

Charlie Hutton (emerging talent manager focused on Benelux) is now senior scout at Chelsea.

Pete Bulmer (who was our senior scouting manager focussing on centre backs) is now at Ipswich.

John Doolan (centre forward scouting manager) - apparently Everton might be looking to bring him in.

Based on the article, I am not sure his role is focused as much on traditional scouting vs the no dickhead policy checks "I have to look at those guys. And try to gather as much background information as possible"

Having got rid of our established and performing recruitment stars, we've gone for an inexperienced, but potential rough diamond that needs polishing.

Where have we seen that before!

Is it my imagination or are there an increasing number of Jocks or those with Jock links at the club atm??? And given the parlous state of Jockball, is that a good thing i wonder???
