Sounds like we tried to get him in the transfer window, but he chose to stay put.

It’s interesting that we’ve gone for two of PSVs CBs but not their outstanding one, the outstandingly named Ryan Flamingo. He has just joined them last summer but given we are clearly looking at that club a lot wouldn’t be surprised if we start to be linked with him in the summer. He’s not a left footer but he has been converted from a DM so he does suit the sort of positional play we were expecting from Fab.
The key feature of Obispo and Boscagli is that they are left footed. Even with Cashin we should always be looking for sensible left footed options when available as they’re so hard to find. I wonder what Boscagli makes of it if there’s any truth in it all.
As an aside, the one that got away at PSV is Tillman. They got him for an absolute steal and he’s quickly developing into an outstanding number 8. Have a slim hope he’s someone we are playing the long game with as he’d be an exceptional optional in our CM and has the versatility to play in a number of positions in our system.

Might be a fair bit of competition for him - I've read links with both Spurs and Dortmund - I'm sure there'll be others.

That said, if he's prone to just giving up, maybe others will be put off!

Never been to Armando Obispo but I did visit San Luis Obispo when I did some travelling on the West Coast the other year.
