I read that this morning (and then watched the 1981 Derby to see how majestic Shergar was that day).

The bit of the story that I liked was their positioning of him as Billionaire and Spiritual Leader, as if the Spiritual Leading was a side hustle after he did his more important billionairing each day.

Which is probably actually how it was.

He sat in my section of the restaurant at Glyndebourne nearly 30 years ago, so I served him his dinner.

He probably didn't remember me.

To be honest, I don't remember anything about him. I assume he left a tip as I'd definitely remember him as a tight arse if not.

I have many more interesting stories if anyone wants them?

Thanks, but they sound a bit too racy for me. I might have a coronary if I read any more.
