[Albion] Apparently we have shown an interest in this player. Thoughts?

Can you find another 20 year old striker with similar stats please
That is a very good question. I did a quick search. Criteria, had to have started his career in the EPL, which rules out most foreign imports. This one is better. Data shown up to age 20.

I found this one immediately (It is Saka), but struggle to think of others.
So your challenge is good.

So basically Ferguson isn't very good because he hasn't scored as many goals as one of the best players of their countries generation? Right.

how many of those appearances were starts and how many were 10 or 15 minutes at the end of a game here and there though? I suspect his stats with goals per minute rather than appearances would still stand up pretty well...
My preferred website for this sort of thing (Transfermarkt) is down for me at the moment, but cobbling together from FBRef.com:

He has played 60 PL games, of which 27 have been starts. In total, 2,586 minutes or approx. 43 minutes per game on average.

He's scored 13 PL goals (from an xG of 10.5), so a goal every 198 minutes. N.B. none of these have been penalties.

Even in this current season, where he seems not to have performed well at all, he's still on 1 goal in 246 minutes played.

The players of a similar age who have outperformed him (mins/goal) this season are:

Jhon Duran (21) - 91 minutes/goal - who's just gone to Al-Nassr for a reported £70M
Ethan Nwaneri (17) - 96 minutes/goal - who's playing for Arsenal and expected to be the Next Big Thing
Romain Esse (19) - 7(SEVEN) minutes/goal - who scored in his 7 minute PL debut last week.

Other than that, no-one.

Liam Delap has scored 7 goals, but in 7 times the minutes (252 minutes/goal)
Justin Devenny has scored 1 goal in 270 minutes
Yankuba Minteh has scored 3 at 279 minutes each
Facundo Buonanotte has scored 4 at 285 minutes each

After that were next looking at Garnacho who has taken 441 minutes to score each of his 3 goals. And it gets worse from there.
