I’m really struggling to see much difference between Tzimas and Delap in terms of height, pace, power, style of play, looks, style of eyes, physical make up or ability.

But I have found some.

Tzimas is almost 3 years younger.

Tzimas likes tzatziki whilst Delap likes dumplings.

In the equivalent season of their careers. Delap had 8 EPL2 goals, Tzimas has 10 (so far) in the men’s Bundesliga 2.

Their showreels essentially show a player with identical attributes. I wonder if they are actually the same person?

The transfer fee is another big difference, along with Delap’s HGP status.

I didn’t realise he was only £17m or so.

That said, he must already be worth at least £25m. Looks like City included a smart clause when they sold him to East Anglia:

“Manchester City have a £29.5 million buy back clause for West Ham target Liam Delap, according to the Sunday Mirror.”

These stats look very exciting, but we know how it works since we built the Amex on an old burial ground moving the headstones, but not the bodies. In which game of the remaining Nuremberg season will he suffer the long term injury that keeps him out until 2026?

Way to go Captain Negative, have you been snacking on the self pity biscuits while drinking a hot cup of doom & gloom.

Well this is always a risk when loaning players. Of course if he was playing in PL maybe the chances for injury were higher.

He is not injury prone though, albeit with small sample size as he just turned 19 last month.

Since he made his debut at 17 in Greek first League + his games in Youth league and the Small Greek NTs he has missed 1 game due to flu.
That's his entire injury/illness history.

Villa were also after the Korean player (I can't remember his name 😖) we have signed for the Summer.
Yun Do-Young  Nice to be two for two but have to hand it to Villa, they've had quite the winter window - if they fail to go deep in the Champions League and/or qualify for the competition again with Malen, Asensio, and Rashford in the side, there will be questions asked I'm sure.

With Facundo Banoffee and Mats Wafer, I think we can have our cake and eat it

Glad to see we're adding Clement Biscoff to this tasty duo
