Benicio Baker-Boaitey (possibly now without the Boaitey) - sold to Millwall;
Casper Nilsson - recalled and released;
Carl Rushworth - recalled, now back with Brighton;
Tom McGill - recalled, now back with Brighton.

I wonder if there was any talk of recalling him so that he could take Ferguson’s place on the bench?

I guess the calculation was that he was far more likely to get useful minutes at Pompey and that even if we had a few injuries to Welbeck, Pedro and Rutter, he wouldn’t be the answer to lead our attack.
No, I don't believe so - as I said before, it was reported a while back that he wanted to stay and play when he recovered from his injury, and that the Pompey management wanted that too, and there was a general commitment on all sides that he would stay.
