Chouchane has shown glimpses of quality but not regularly enough and as we appear to have significantly upgraded our midfield over Jan he does now appear surplus. I reckon a Lg 2 loan would be good for him..especially after the way Marc L developed with us starting in Lg 2.
Has he actually been recalled/sent back as far as you know? I agree it would seem to be a good idea.

About the same, imagine we have taken a small loss (am sure we must have needed to pay big agent fees for him, for example) or the deal washes its face.
Likely a profit for PSR purposes having amortised a year of his contract. The club know what they’re doing with money. Factoring in his loans where wages will have been covered, and possibly even a fee involved, we’ve likely come out from this up on the balance sheet.

That said, sad to see him go. I liked his SPUNK.

Recalled by us - not unwanted by the Dons. Strange one this - would make sense if Rushworth was heading out for a better loan. What leagues could Rushworth still go to, where the window hasn't shut yet?

would make sense as Rishworth is cup tied and can't play on Saturday so mcgill on the bench
So, as Steele is still out with injury (I think) are we assuming that Cahill will now be the 'Cup Keeper' - and we needed to recall McGill just to sit on the bench for one match? One of the U21 GKs could surely have done that (or we could have just continued with Vebruggen in the Cup anyway).

Guess we'll just have to wait and see what the 'why' is in the decision to recall.

Surely Verbruggen starts on Saturday with McGill on the bench... Would have been happy for Steele to start if fit but we're throwing the game away otherwise
