I said that a while ago, fkin disgraceful if this happens again after being ahead of them by miles last season and now this season. They look so much stronger than us all over the park.
They strengthened their first team, we didn't

Palace are a form team at the moment, and if it's maintained may pass us soon. That's why premature gloating is always ill advised.
They finished last season ahead of us, are now up and running, having beaten us. My guess is they'll probably finish above us again.

Havertz with a finish so bad it’s like he’s just signed for us

Astonishing miss. He did one similar a few games ago I seem to remember? Remarkable.

But what on earth are Manchester City up to?! They’re actively gifting clear cut chances away with stupidity

Friend of mine is a Palace fan. After about 8 or 9 games he calmly said to me; "Brighton always start a season like world beaters, and then crash and burn in the second half of the season. Palace always start horribly, and have much stronger second half of a season. I'm quietly confident that Palace will catch Brighton."

I cant say I disagreed with that analysis - it was pretty much what had happened last season - but I strongly hoped this season would be different. But nope - looks like he is right, dammit.

Well Pep does often say he's an admirer of ours :moo:
Sub us at the moment with their passing out from the back. They’re reaching the levels of 2024-2025 Southampton - some achievement

So everyone now thinks Palace are brilliant having beaten Utd 2 - 0? Didn't some other team recently beat Utd 3 - 1? People are a bit weird at the moment.
Yeah people have gone completely bonkers on here - they've lost all perspective. Granted the situation may change but we currently sit above Spurs, West Ham, Palace and Man Utd in the PL. One day, at some point in the future, we'll probably be relegated and I suspect a chunk of our fans will spontaneously combust.

The PL is a roller coaster . . . . Didn't one of these teams win 3-1 in Brighton recently.

Havertz looks shot to bits on confidence which has to be a major concern for the whining Arsenal hordes. The goal they did score he should have buried himself and terrible miss on that second one that City tried to gift him. If he gets a one on one in the second half it could be fun seeing him stop on the spot waiting for a team mate to catch up!
