[Albion] When did things last feel this bad?

It was last this bad in December when we weren't winning.

That's not my view, but it is what I noticed in some others opinions at the time.

You need to open your eyes and see the bigger picture. It's apologists like you that'll watch this club walk into the championship.
2 wins in 12 league games is the stat that says it all. We are probably safe but heading towards a 16th place finish at this rate

The dull part of the south coast
Trying to think of a time since the end of the Goldstone when things have felt this gloomy from an Albion point of view.

I know Gillingham was a ball ache and there was some wet and windy nights at Withdean, but what is going on with our club at the moment feels farcical.

Ferguson going from a £100m striker to being sent to a direct rival on loan.

Barco farce.

Rumoured discontent within the dressing room.

The board making calamitous decision after decision on transfers whilst popping up on a new podcast each week sucking up the plaudits.

A clueless baffoon of a manager.

Never ending injuries (which I think might be down to the players not being motivated to play/get fit for manager).

Endless crap performances at home.

Loosing 7 - 0 to a #teamslikeforest

I could go on...
FFS! Give us a break. We all know you like to stir the pot and oh boy you‘ve been working on this recipe all night. We are all aware of the frailties at the moment so enjoy your moment in self gloating - it won’t last long.

When were things this bad or worse?
How about Chris Hughton's last half a season. That was dire. Terrible quality football every week, some heavy defeats to Bournemouth and Cardiff and barely any points scored after new year. Probably only stayed up because of the tragedy of Cardiff's new striker. It's not that long ago, you must remember that. I actually felt I endured, not enjoyed that time watching the Albion.
As has been mentioned we are still mid table. For me, apart from yesterday's result (obviously awful) this season has felt mostly a bit meh! With all the draws etc. We've been a bit spoiled over the last couple of years.
(Absolutely loved CH for getting us to the Premier League by the way)

You’ve just supported everything I’ve written. So thanks 👍
You expect us to feel empathy, yet you don’t give any real indication of what it is you expect. Everyone wants the club to progress (apart from maybe one or two on here who are much happier when moaning), but as I said there is hope and there is delusion.

So what is it? Europe every season? Champions League? Title wins?

It's sport - these things can happen.

Woke up this morning and have put yesterday in the past. Looking forward to next week already.

I refuse to ever let a result (however awful like yesterday's) ruin my weekend. Had a lovely evening with a few beers and we move on.

Never get too down if we lose - never get too carried away when we win. It's ONLY a GAME.
I've finally managed to refine it to getting carried away when Albion win and not getting too down when they lose. I quite like it there.

For even more context, at this point last season we had one more point (35) and sitting in 9th with a Manager everybody seemed to worship on here. Said Manager then got us 3 wins in the last 14 games, lost 7 making 13 points (that's relegation form over 38 matches)

We now have the worst Manager in the history of the Premier League (allegedly) that appears to be performing exactly the same with an inexperienced squad compared to last season.

Give your heads a wobble - the next 14 games will define FH, not the first 24 - he's doing ok (at the moment!)
I want a manager who looks at the available players and thinks how can we stop Forest playing how they want.
Dunk Webster JPVH Veltman Lamptey go a back 5.
Hinsh, MO
Then a choice of three attackers dropping back in to midfield when out of possession.

What he did first half was a car crash waiting to happen. He’s not doing ‘ok’

For further context, Brighton are currently 17 points clear of the relegation places with 14 games of the season remaining, with a +25 goal difference over 18th placed Leicester City.
Don’t use pesky ‘facts’ when in the company of the wailing
