Of our previous two managers, which one has the most delusion rewriting of their history by their supporters during their time at Brighton & Hove Albion?
Oh and claimed Mudryk would win the balon d’or
Much of that is fair. However he did achieve something no other Albion manager has done. We were also playing a style of football that had a lot of people in world football sitting up and taking notice.De Zerbi. People dine out on beating the worst Ajax team in decades, a Marseille team that didn’t qualify for Europe this season. Hammered by a poor Roma who are on their 3rd manager since they beat us.
Tactically outdone by Dyche & Moyes, and embarrassing in many games where we shipped 4+ goals.

100% agree, but it showed how unsustainable it was / is. Didn’t even really manage a full season at that levelMuch of that is fair. However he did achieve something no other Albion manager has done. There is a pro and negative rewriting of what they achieved by both sides. The truth is always somewhere in the middle.Don’t think Potter has many fans on here at all?

Think it would have been a better appointment than what we got but he’d be given no time and would be starting from the ground up. Imagine the scene if we’d not won any of our first 10 games.I'm a big Potter fan.
I was calling for him to return here post-De Zerbi.
Think Potter did an exceptional job to build the foundations of Brighton's greatest ever team. RDZ merely added the finishing touches - but Potter did all the graft.
From what I have read today about how RDZ left* because the club wouldn't back him in the transfer window, I'm going RDZ's followers.Of our previous two managers, which one has the most delusion rewriting of their history by their supporters during their time at Brighton & Hove Albion?
How many games had we played that season when Potter left?Let’s not forget that it appeared that “Potterball“ was finally coming together (and incoming players would how many games have helped) as when he left we were 4th in the league!
Who knows what might gave been…
DeZerbi was intense and fun for a season or so but felt was always going to be short lived.
Incumbent manager, for me, jury is out, however am not yet convinced…..
Oh yes! He was definitely sacked. From what I have read today about how RDZ left* because the club wouldn't back him in the transfer window, I'm going RDZ's followers.
*And he was sacked. Fact.
@Anger wil back me up on that

7 or 8 as I recall. Those first few games however were looking promising. We’ll never know how rest of season would have gone but it was a good start regardless. How many games had we played that season when Potter left?
Yes it was a good and enjoyable start ..but can’t really read too much into the table that early …could also have gone tits up ..we’ll never know7 or 8 as I recall.
