To be fair (and I realise we’re probably not in the mood for being fair), Fab has played it right tactically in quite a few games this season. I’d say he got it right in at least four recent EPL games (Villa, Arsenal, Ipswich, United). Today was clearly *not* a tactical success. But Fab is a risk-taker, and sometimes it backfires.

True and today f*** all went for us. Hence I am on the fence but Fab does not inspire me in the least, he’s a f***ing boring manager imo. Hopefully he’s not as dull in the dressing room.

If the next three (Chelsea x2 & Southampton) don’t go well I’d get rid.

However there is no chance we’ll go down, so I think Bloom will give him the season

I think injuries are up for most teams, and seemingly increasing with each passing year.

Likely that elite sport has raised the bar so incredibly high now, that injuries are increasing for those trying to sustain that level of competition.

It’s on the day of a 7-0 drubbing. Most people here are legitimately angry, especially those who travelled to the game. Luckily, Tony Bloom’s thinking and planning isn’t influenced by knee jerk reactions after a defeat.

Fairly sure he’s lost the dressing room with his age a big factor. It’s not working, I reckon Tony will pull the trigger at the end of the season. I just hope we haven’t let the likes of Enciso & Ferguson go before then!

The manager will have had no say in this.

Get who gone - the chairman? David Weir? Paul Barber? Gordon Greer?

McConville, while a promising youngster, has quite literally 19 minutes of senior professional football at club level, off the bench in the FA Cup. Presumably you saw something truly extraordinary in those 19 minutes? And obviously you will have watched his six PL2 appearances this season.

Oh and the fact that we’ve allowed this loan because we’ve just signed a senior centre back, with over 100 appearances already in the last 2 and a half seasons.

I know you’re upset at the result, but get a grip.

I think Bournemouth have one of the worst cases this season?, but they've just not complained about it in the same way the likes of Spurs and Citeh have.

It does also make you wonder though about certain clubs. I seem to remember, for example, Arsenal having a terrible injury record under Wenger in his later years, and then an article from an ex physio (I think) there saying the training methods were the reasons for the high injuries.

For us, it certainly can't all be on FH, as we had a similar rate under RDZ.

That's so wrong.
The trouble with us this season is we are now a bog standard EPL club.
Not weird, unpredictable, occasionally astonishing but quite often mediocre.
Just bog standard.

Today feels like an anomaly.
We went for it with a weak midfield, got punished by a very good side, then fell apart in the last 15.

The manager looked like a mix of bullied teenager and shell-shocked zombie skulking on the bench when all was lost.
That worried me and I raised an eyebrow.

Hopefully he can recover and we can find another way.
With so many out it may be more of the low block that got us the win at Newcastle.
People won't like it, but we will get more points.
Not that we need many. We are safe already.
Fancy that!

As a DeZerbi supporter there is no doubt he was a leader who said what he thought sometimes without thinking. Our present manager seems more like a school teacher that will agree with everything the club say to him.
