Not a knee jerk. I think the current manager is trying his best, but his best isn’t good enough. Time for e rethink and a reset.

Can some see a reason why we need a project manager who is vastly inexperienced at this level?
If they excel they leave with a few million compo thrown our way and it’s back to square one.

The problem is its not just the manager. A combination of things that worrying me:

1. Injuries and injuries, is it just us that seem to suffer the most? Do we have issues with our physio getting people repaired and back to fitness? or are we buying players prone to injury?
2. Dunk approaching retirement/Defense needs strengthening
3. Manager learning his craft

If we sacked the manager now (and I'm not in that camp), it won't solve all our problems?

Always like to give someone a chance. But don't see us playing any better than last season. We are too pedestrian, we scared to shoot and don't have a plan B, C or D. RDZ used to change our system during games, I don't see that with Fab..... Sorry but I'm team 'Out' I've seen enough...

The PL is brutal. Clubs have teams of analysts pouring over every team’s games, their weaknesses, the tactics that might work. It’s an absolute examination.

For this manager the number of goals we have conceded from a ball behind our left back is just unbelievable that it continues to happen. It’s not our only weakness clearly, but tactically we are conceding the same goal over and over again. It’s a worry.

That team sheet was on a par with the Labour Manifesto for the 1983 election. He learnt from the "high line" Chelsea fiasco so fingers crossed he learns from this one.
I'm sure he will get to the end of the season and then Tony will review with Paul.

I think we lack real experience behind the scenes which isn’t helping him. He’d have a much better chance under Ashworth. I think we made a mistake not going for someone with more experience this time so I’m regretfully saying ‘out’.

The turning point for Fab was when Welbeck got injured against Soton.

He had a ready made replacement in Evan so that we didn't need to change our pattern of play.

Instead he went down the Pedro route and we struggled until Welbeck came back.

I think that could have cost him his job because I think dressing room unrest started then.

Not that I'm an expert "EPL Manager" (like most think they are on here) heck, I'm not an expert in most things, but at least FH had the gonads to hook Pedro at HT - he's becoming a bit of a luxury prima donna (imho) and needs to get back to contributing to the team, as opposed to each game looking like he's showcasing himself........

With RDZ there was always a plan B and he was always thinking during the game , i don`t see FH doing that , he hasn`t got that same pro-active mentality . Added to loaning out two very good MFs (Buonanotte - Enciso) who we could do with right now and , us having a stronger bench than the team on the pitch against Everton last week have done it for me . No knee jerk reaction , just get gone please .

New manager, with loads of new additions to the squad that don't really reflect the 200m spent.

Lots of injuries.

Comfortable mid table, well into the second half of the season, after a superb start.

I'm still 'trusting the process' for now.

What was the Plan B when we got smashed by Everton, Villa & Luton under RDZ ?

If No3 was happening, No2 already would have . . . . That would help

No1 is odd . . . . We got a broken Danny Welbck fit and reliable so Is it just bad luck? Or are the players not doing the right things?

Mmmm his post match on TS and he says he has no regrets with his team selection. Some forced but felt the selection was right to get a result! He did say there is plenty of talking in the changing room and that includes himself and we need to be better!
I heard it, was waffling about togetherness of systems (some abstract concept) and he wouldn't have done anything differently with selection/formation.

If you can't acknowledge or have the humility to admit you got it all wrong and would do same again, you're really short changing 1000's of fans who went.

They gave up their day and paid a fair wedge to watch that utter shit.

Formation and in game management is all on him.
