Clearly there's a big problem that's affected selection. Sickness bug rumour sounds on the money. Maybe Gomez and O'Riley have been ill too. Very strange otherwise. If you play your midfielders and they're not good enough, then not much else you can do in the circumstances. If you don't play them and use a forward instead, can reasonably expect some flak if it doesn't work. Bold.

Georginio is playing centre mid alongside Hinsh.
Yeah thats how i see it. Our usual 4-2-3-1 formation. The only change is Baleba and Ayari out injured so Hinsh and Rutter are in. Hinsh would be an obvious choice to step in for those 2. Rutter in the middle is a slight curve ball, over Gomez or O'Riley, but I guess neither have player a lot so its down to who FH trusts.

Holy f***.

Our entire midfield appears to consist of a teenager playing his first game after several months out injured.

I guess we're going for that long ball out of defence/one player runs 50 yards with the ball out of defence tactic then?

I shall reserve judgement until after the game(or at least half time) but I am now a long, long way from looking forward to this game.

Feel for lamptey and Hinshelwood. Could be hung out to dry.

The most exciting thing to me in seeing that line up is Hinshelwoods role. It may appear he's isolated in front of and protecting the back four, but hopeful we may find out a lot more of his qualities and what he's made of in a few hours. It really could go either way, but think he has the temperament to cope.
