It crashed shortly after take-off so its tank of fuel would have been full, I presume. I have also seen reports that it crashed into cars (and there is video of houses being on fire) so possibly vehicles on the ground also exploded.

i dont know if this was trump haters fake news but it was reported on twitter that this occurred 2 days after Trump ordered a standdown on dozens of air-traffic controllers as part of his cost cutting exercise...

looking at the footage I am at a loss as to how that collision could ever happen .....it almost looked deliberate , how the BH operator didn't see the civilian craft is unfathomable ....RIP. what a shit way to go.

They're quoting directly from the FAA and also the Office for Personnel Management here so the reports seem quite credible.

It also appears that the OPM are attempting to backtrack by although admitting air traffic controllers were sent the email with the offer to resign they weren't eligible for the offer, which begs the question why send them the emai with the offer in the first place....

Quite possibly knows my brother in law (Foo Kennard) then as he was based at both of those too - and still works with the RAF & MOD now, doing exactly that sort of thing.

What an awful human being.

Meanwhile, I finally saw some of the footage from Trump's post-crash press conference (via Spicer's Room Next Door) and it was worse than I'd imagined. The guy does not care one jot about anything other that getting one over people or slagging off the previous administration. Another awful human being.
