Even with £90m in our pocket there's no guarantee we'd have enough time in the window to sign a replacement. & any team we approach would rinse us for cash. So I cant see this happening with so little time left.

i really believe that KM does not want to go to Saudi - so where has this intrest come from ? not his agent pushing for a move or our side asking for bids

is there a bit of gamesmanship from "topten" rivals ? i.e middle east petro-rich clubs like newcastle, Mancity, chelsea (backdoor) etc using their influence to unsetle rivals ?

A clear footballing decision from our Kaoru, apart from being an incredible talent, he’s also a student of the game. Eventually we will lose him, probably to a club that guarantees him CL football. However, for now, he’s still our boy, and will continue to do his best for BHA, no tantrums, or tools down, unlike Tossard.

Looks like he is staying? Fair play for turning down the money by club and player if that’s the case. A rare moment of not cashing in by eithe

It's not clear what the player is being offered here. Is the offer attractive to Mitoma? Ultimately, it's him that has to agree.
According to that Mr Brazil and others on TalkSport (I know) this morning, the offer will just be doubled or tripled if necessary.
Edit: now confirmed on BBC website the Saudis have ended their attempt to sign him :)

If Al Nassr are desperate for a left winger could we maybe see if we could get a ridiculous price for Simon Adingra.
Yes - I was wondering if Adingra is the ready-made (but lesser at present) replacement for Mitoma in our forward-planning. If we had Adingra on the left and March on the right for the rest of the season (big IF) we'd still be able to play winger-based play.

From BBC...

''The south coast club turned down a 65m euro (£54.42m) bid from the Saudi Pro-League side, but had expected a further offer.

However, in additional communication between the two clubs, Brighton underlined they had no need to sell the 27-year-old and would not be changing their stance, no matter what was offered.

Brighton also felt Mitoma had no interest in leaving the Amex Stadium. Consequently, Al-Nassr now accept the deal will not happen.''

Well done Tony and Kaoru for turning down all that cash!
