He’s mental, has to be. How can there be no shame or embarrassment? As I posted earlier, he’s like an embarrassing, senile and old relative. The only difference is there’s no one to say “Come on grandad, it’s time to go home.”
Ironic given he was always wanging on about 'Sleepy Joe' being mentally deficient.

That sort of chat has helped lead the US to where it is now - and his supporters will lap it up and not even care that what he is saying is complete bullshit. Their man got the top job so he can do whatever he likes and no-one will stop him...

His last sentence of that post, "This is a bad situation that looks like it should have been prevented".... is he referring to the plane crash or is he referring to his election as President?

I believe he’s referring to the plane and helicopter crash. Being the President himself, it seems unlikely that he is referring to his own election as President.

When I listened to his press conference I noticed that when he was speaking about the FAA's diversity hiring policy he was actually quoting from articles written about it rather than from the FAA's written policy itself. I wondered who it was who had wriiten those articles, and unsurprisingly it turned out to be Fox News and the New York Post, neither of whom are noted for their journalistic credibility or integrity.

Here are a few more facts behind the claims he was making in his press conference..

What's the betting that Trump's appointed Attorney General comes up with a legal view that the two term limit, only applies to consecutive terms, and given Trump's weren't, so he is eligible to serve again.
Keeps being thrown at him but until/if that actually happens its just garbage.
Rather than as we have here, cancelling local elections because Labour and the Tories wont like the outcome...
I am no Trump fan boy, I'm well aware he's a twat at times, but plenty of people who are twats are decent at there job.
And he looks like he's following through with all his promises he got elected for.

I for one respect that. Even if he can be a tool.

He promised, in July 2024, if you vote for me, you won't have to vote again.

Verified by Snopes.

He then tried to explain it.
Later, Trump told Fox News' Laura Ingraham he was trying to encourage Christians to vote for him in the 2024 presidential election and said he doesn't care if they "don't want to vote" after that because "the country will be fixed, and we won't need your vote anymore."

He promised before the election that if he won there would be no more elections. Is that what you mean?

Well he essentially promised to be a compassionless c**t and so far he's largely following through on that promise, but I'm not sure it's something to respect him for.

I mean Hitler promised to rid Germany of the Jews and he largely followed through on that promise, but you wouldnt start expressing your respect for Hitler on that basis.

Respect is earned by the nature of what you do, not by the mere fact that you have followed through on what you said you would do. If I promised you now that I was going to have a sh*t on my dining table and then later posted a photo on this thread to prove I'd followed through on my promise, would I have earned your respect?..... actually perhaps I should have chosen a better analogy.

Several senior FBI officials told to resign or else be fired or demoted

Multiple senior FBI officials have been told they must resign from the bureau or be fired or demoted, sources familiar with the matter confirm to ABC News, a move further signaling the administration’s intentions to oust law enforcement officials they see as not sufficiently loyal to President Trump.
At least five officials at the executive director or special agent in charge level were informed Thursday of what sources described as essentially a forced resignation from the FBI, the sources said. Several of the officials had been previously promoted to their roles by Chris Wray, the now-former director of the FBI who departed the agency based on the expectation he’d be fired after Trump’s inauguration.

He needed to get in this time to avoid going to prison. I suspect he'd not have had the motivation otherwise, and I doubt he will at age 82 (if a lifestyle of fast food doesn't catch up with him before then).
