Apologies for the missing L in her surname.

She had a lovely moment in the sun in the early post punk years.

I saw her on Pebble Mill at One maybe 40 years ago. Hand shaking as she dragged on a ciggy.
Pleased she managed to survive so long.
Perhaps she was the painting in the attic that Jagger left behind as he ventured forth as Dorian Gray.

At the end of my tether
She was truly one of the “ In crowd” of the sixties. One of the scene , one-of our generation, in a sense one of us ….
she made good records too. We all loved Marianne . She should be remembered as an artist. She had a troubled life , now may she RIP.
( and no more Mars Bar references please !)
