Personally, having not been to many games, I'd say O'Riley's winner against Man City was hard to beat. Also Buonanotte's goal against Palace to put us 3-0 up mere seconds after going 2-0 up
Japan beating the mighty South Africa happened on our turf, and was one of the biggest shocks in sporting history - ever. It’s hard to put into words how huge that result was, combined with the manner of winning (deciding to scrum for a try to win it, rather than take an easy penalty for a draw).Comical how our completely non-fickle and hardcore fanbase picks the rugby or the England women’s football over an actual Albion moment . Says it all really.
I know I will be unpopular, and I probably shouldnt comment, but...
Glen Murray sealing Palace becoming the first away team to win in the league, Wilf's second goal to seal the Play off win, and Sarr's goal to seal victory in December would be the top 3 moments for me, with Wilf being my favourite moment, albeit only from the TV for me
Quite funny though
but it's rugby and not even our home nation.Japan beating the mighty South Africa happened on our turf, and was one of the biggest shocks in sporting history - ever. The atmosphere was incredible, beer at your seat, full house of smiling faces - the Japanese were just happy to be there and get on the scoreboard.
I love the Albion always, but objectively that was the biggest moment at the Amex (note the wording I used welcoming all moments at the Amex) in my opinion. And others agree.
I wasn’t being entirely seriousQuite funny though
I take it you left early?Ronaldo’s face when we beat Man Utd at The Amex 3-0.
Team for the day was:
Sanchez
Cucerrella
Dunk
Veltman
Gross
Bissouma
Caicedo
Macallistair
Trossard
Welbeck
March
Potter was manager
Totally agree that this is the day and the moment is all of that day, especially sitting in Dick's bar before the game watching the crowds return. One of many tear in eye moments.Definitely Will Buckley’s winner against Doncaster, it was the icing on the cake to a really special memorable day
The roof came offI don´t get to visit the Amex more than once or twice a season but my greatest moment was when Pedro scored very late in my first ever Albion Europe game v Marseille.
