I'm looking in to a few things for a friend who is going travelling but wants to be able to watch Albion games.
Can I ask those of you who live outside the UK what legal* service you subscribe to, how much it costs and if you get all games ?

*has to be a legitimate service, not a hooky IPTV setup.

If I were to subscribe to a legal service, it'd be Dazn. It's 10 euro a month but regionally restricted (I imagine most paid services are) so he'd need a proxy server to watch, which is probably illegal. That'd be the issue with any service if he'll be in different countries. Also, commentary may well be in the local language.

I subscribe to Sky Sports Austria. Costs about 10 Euro a month. It covers most games - I think I miss out on games covered by Amazon.

When a game has been moved for TV it shows the game on two channels, one with English commentary. Normal 3pm Saturday games are with German commentary only.

Australia Optus Sport - $150 a year for all games, FA Cup, shelias and J league, probably some other stuff I don't watch too.

You do have to watch Michael Owen and Tim Sherwood quite often though.

I use Sky DE which covers most EPL games. You’ll need a German VPN to use it outside of the Fatherland, and I’m not sure you’d be able to sign up in the first place if you’re outside of the country.

As mentioned by a couple of posters above, I use Sky Sport Austria/Germany. They've definitely upped their game since winning the contract back from DAZN - English commentary, more games, other Sky UK programmes shown (Monday Night football with Neville and co, the terrible referee show with Howard Webb ...).

One great frustration this season has been that no company has picked up the rights to the EFL and the FA Cup - guess the Football League were too greedy. No legal way to watch the Chelsea game here...

Limited! Basically, it's watch the occasional Amazon game then listen to the rest with Johnny and Warren. Extended highlights are usually the most I get to actually see. :tantrum:

PS: I'm in Portugal.

Signed up to Go. Maltese TV and added TSN sports channels. I get most Albion games plus some PL La ligia Bundesliga and Premiership rugby.€5 a month. You can then get mobile access.

I use Viaplay. Commentary is in Dutch and costs 15€ a month. However, it shows all the games and you can choose which one you want to stream. Has many Championship, Bundesliga + 2 as well as the darts.

Here in the USA terrestrial TV is NBC/USA channels or it’s on Peacock which is part of NBC. $5.99 a month. Peacock also is available via an App.

You can't get a legal service that works in multiple countries.

I very much doubt you can sign up for a legal service in a country you are just visiting either.

Sky here in Germany shows almost every single premier league game (sometimes if there are say 6 Saturday 3pm kick offs they only show 5 of them). That costs 25€/month for one device or 30€/month on up to five devices so I split that with a friend, so 15€/month. You also get all the Saturday Bundesliga games and all the DFB Pokal games.

Yes, for example in Brazil you require a Brazilian issued credit card and a CPF number, which is equivalent to a NI number, to subscribe.
