There are a few contenders, some already mentioned.

England women winning 8-0 in the Euros is another great moment from a non Brighton perspective.

From a Brighton one I'll add the roar that went up when Alexis Mac Allister scored that 100th min penalty against United to bring Europe even closer.

Brighton factually.....
Three for different reasons

First game against Doncaster and that late win, I had tears rolling down my face at the start and what a fitting last gasp goal to win.
I was so happy that day, I get goosebumps thinking about it, the relief of finally having our new home, hard fought by so many.

The Japan win was amazing, and such a shock, it was such a good atmosphere the whole day, and being able to take a beer to your seat was a novelty.
Fantastic finish stuffing the arrogant South Africans, the bus ride back to the park and ride at the racecourse was a laugh when a chorus of "I think i'm turning Japanese" broke out and the whole bus started singing it, much to the amusement of Japanese fans on the bus, such a joyous day out.

Finally the Marseille win, the atmosphere was electric with anticipation, the goal and celebration in the crowed right where me and my daughter were stood, the roar when that goal went in, will live with me forever. I wonder if we will ever top a European group again, a culmination again of all the hard work to get where we were that night.
I took my 1 year old daughter to the very first game at the amex in the Sussex senior cup final in hope she would get the bug, and there she was with me fourteen years later all doughy eyed jumping up and down as Pedro was right in front of us....
Job done.

I thought the consensus would be the Japan victory and the Marseille goal. Wonderful moments- that, alas, I saw from my armchair.

Good post. Agree the Pedro goal against Marseilles meant so much. To top the group - Brighton - through against those famous old European clubs, incredible. What a night. We know that Tony Bloom wants that again. And usually, what Tony wants, Tony gets.

Yes. Amazing moment of catharsis after the semi

Can't really choose between Wigan, Donny, Marseille and the rugby to be honest.

By the way, the Amex has only been around for 15 years or so and half of those events don't have any sort of equivalence at the shit-tip that is Selhurst, despite a 100-year head start. Says it all about the gulf in class between the two clubs.
Glad to say I was at all 4 of those.

For me I’d also add the one game I got to go there with my late Dad, from who all my interest in football came when he first dragged me down to games at the Goldstone more than 50 years ago.

Ah yes, that was the roar that convinced me to use Seagull Travel in the future. We heard it while queuing on the steps for the park and ride bus.

Comical how our completely non-fickle and hardcore fanbase picks the rugby or the England women’s football over an actual Albion moment 🤣. Says it all really.

Buckley's goal on the pitch, getting up the West stand upper steps in under 4 minutes, Bannister would have been proud of me.

I would like to add the moment Knocky scored the winner with five minutes to go v Sheff Massive, with the earlier double save for the penalty, even though it was still only January it was the moment I was convinced that was going to be the season.

For me also, it wasn't the first pitch invasion, we were not quite mathematically promoted then, it was watching the Derby v Hudderfield game on the screen standing in the NS with a pint in my hand and Derby equalising late on and at the final whistle there was the second pitch invasion as we definitely has that P next to our name on the table and the photo I have of my daughter sitting on the Amex centre spot, pint in hand both arms raised above her head.

I quite enjoyed beating Potter's Chelsea.
This for me is joint top, along with Buckley vs Doncaster. A visceral atmosphere and, lest it’s forgotten, WE ruined that greedy gimp’s career there: he’d actually been doing ok there before that game. David vs Goliath. Absolutely epic.
