And back in hospital
Sending you very best wishes my friend. Take it slow and don't rush into getting back to fighting fitness. Listen to your body and listen to your doctors. And don't worry about missing out on the Amex tomorrow. The ticket exchange is open and it's only the third round after all. See you on the match thread

Update: COVID has become pericarditis. Sent home again but now with 3 month prescription for chochicine and told to rest a minimum of a few weeks to aid recovery.

Woke up this morning feeling like absolute shite - did a test and sure enough, COVID again. My third time despite being triple jabbed. Currently having to isolate from my vulnerable elderly Mum who I’m caring for.

How many times have you had it? Three other mates (ones I haven’t seen in person recently, but have a WhatsApp group with) all have it too, two for the first time. Is there a new strain going around or something?
My son had it a month back, his symptoms were vomiting, followed by secondary ear infection: no cough, sore throat, or temperature. Nurse said there's a new strain, with vomiting symptoms.

I had a very odd bug a month ago which lasted until last week. Ended up with antibiotics but never tested for covid. No sickness but the other end was water. Kept feeling hot then cold and fuzzy headed. Never once felt like a tummy bug (no ache or acid). Certainly felt washed out.

Yeah, the nurse at our surgery said there are a small number of additional variants this year, none of which involve the original cough, sore throat or high temperature...and so people rarely test themselves for covid

Make sure you do as you’re told and don’t try to do things before you’ve fully recovered. Rest is boring but essential for healing.

They locked us up for this. Amazing the control they had

People were chastised when they questioned

Hindsight a wonderful thing
A friend of mine - mid 50’s no previous health issues died of Covid.

If he was alive he would probably have decked you for being a swivelled eyed loon.

But he is dead - so he can’t.

People like you are so feckin weird 🤦🏻‍♂️
Get a life - my mate can’t now

I can’t believe it but I’ve got covid… again.

I was hospitalised in December following my last bout of covid back in November, with what turned out to be pericarditis. Luckily my work have been very understanding, but now I have it full blown again.

What a bloody nightmare, my immune system must be shot to pieces

Only with long covid. My sense of smell is still completely buggered.

Hope you feel better soon.

Have to say that COVID changed my entire Albion outlook. At one point I was one out of about three people in the entire North Stand or on the trains wearing a mask. At that point I just thought f*** it, I'll just come and go as I please. And if that occasionally means leaving at HT then so be it :bigwave:
