This appeared on FB recently and thought it might be of interest. Short video of one of the best old away days on the terrace at Posh. Proper loud atmosphere, iconic kit, "we're f***ing brilliant" and the short loved version of the Palace ditty.
Just watched it. I was sure we won 2-1 and were 1-0 downThat was a superb away day. We were f*cking brilliant too. I remember saying to my dad at 1-0 down that it would be a crime if we lost that game, we were so much better than them. Then the two Buckley goals (?) one a free kick.

Irony or fact?I was there too. But up in the posh* seats, looking down at you lot behind the goal
*I should be on the radio with this quality of material.
Leicester away under Garcia completes the top 3 for me. We were awesome and completely stunned them that day, how we didn't get 7 I'll never know.Following Charlton away, the best 2 Brighton performances I've ever seen until the Potter era.
I wonder that we perhaps met them at a good time. They had just won the league a few days prior and been out on the lash.Leicester away under Garcia completes the top 3 for me. We were awesome and completely stunned them that day, how we didn't get 7 I'll never know.
Everyone says that but they weren't. I think they were looking for excuses.I wonder that we perhaps met them at a good time. They had just won the league a few days prior and been out on the lash.
I remember working till 9 that night and looking at the score afterwards. It kept the play off hopes alive.Everyone says that but they weren't. I think they were looking for excuses.
We listened to Radio Leicestershire on the way back (back at 3am anyone else?) and Pearson was furious. The party was supposed to be after the game against us which they expected to trounce us as we were in awful form up until that point.
We went at them and they didn't expect it. Lua Lua was especially class in that one.
Fact.Irony or fact?
Agreed. One of, if not my favourite ever away day. Non-stop singing after the goal until the final whistle and beyond! My dad and I got the last two sausage, cheese, bean melts from Gregg's on the way back to the station. Perfect day!Always stuck in my mind one of the best away days ever
Fantastic atmosphere
That's what I thought too. I was there and it was the best I'd ever seen us play, including old first division days. (The early sending off of McLean may have helped?)Wasn’t it 2010 and 0-3 or am I having a senior moment?
