Since we've been in the PL, how many penalties have we conceded and how many have been missed or saved by our keeper?

I'm happy to be corrected, (my memory for past games is poor), but I think our record is something like .......

Penalties conceded = approx 60
Penalties saved = 0
Penalties missed = 0

Now like I say, my memory isn't great and I have a vague recollection we saved one from Vardy, who immediately put in the rebound.

But am I right about this, have we conceded from every pen we've given away in the PL?

OK. So any advance on one penalty that didn't result in a goal since we've been in the PL?

I'm also aware we let in 7 straight in a shoot out against Man U, but that's not PL, so that's not what i'm looking for

Ryan saved one against Stoke.

Sanchez saved one against Southampton but they scored the rebound.

Someone else missed one but I can’t remember who it was and in which game.

Other than that I think they’ve all been scored.

Edit I’ve had a look at Transfermarkt and they say 2 were missed in 17-18 season, 1 in 20-21, 1 in 21-22 and 2 in 22-23. So that’s 6 in total.

Matt Ryan saved one from Rooney and one from Charlie Adam
Steele saved one against Forest under RDZ
Sanchez saved one versus JWP for Southampton under RDZ.
DCL missed one for Everton against us in a 3-2 win at Goodison.

By my records we have had 45 penalties awarded against us in the Premier League.

39 have been scored.

Of the 6 which weren't scored, 2 were put over the bar (Raheem Sterling and Dominic Calvert-Lewin - perhaps we got unlucky he had to go off today).

4 were saved - 2 by Maty Ryan (from Charlie Adam and Wayne Rooney), 1 by Robert Sanchez (although James Ward-Prowse, who took it, scored from the rebound) and 1 by Jason Steele (from Brennan Johnson).

90% of penalties are scores in the Premier League.
6 from 45 is pretty good going.

Although 0 from 5 this season, isn't.

That percentage surprised me at first; but then I remembered that we’ve got a 100% conversion rate for in-game penalties over the last 2.5 seasons.

I remember the Ryan save at Stoke City. I was there that day. Lewis Dunk then tackled a player coming in for the rebound and the ref gave a corner. It was hailed as a great interception.

Thankfully we didn't have VAR. The replay showed Dunk actually carved straight through him meaning another penalty should have been awarded and, by the letter of the law, a red card
