Staggers me what the players and coaching team thought they were going to encounteer today. Staggering. All of that anger at final whistle. f*** off. Do it in the 90 minutes.

I'm not going to be spending so much money watching that crap insipid football any more. Maybe Hurzelar ball will change in the coming months but not much sign of it yet. More effort second half and that's about it. Weird thing to say but most of the team don't even need to wash their kit. They didn't break sweat. Hard to warm to our team anymore. No one's a prick but it's all a bit meh, 'trust in the wo-cess', players take home 150k a week. Rinse and repeat.

We can't handle a few good results. Ideas well and above our station. Maybe we'll do something in the cup.

Veltman both pulled back and tripped before he foolishly handles it. We'd probably have won without that decision as surely Everton wouldn't have tried to anti football their way to a draw?

We just seem short of any creativity/ability inside or just outside the box. Most of our plays
seem to be hit and hope.
Particulalrly Joao Pedro. All season versus a low block, he drops so deep so that when we do cross it/cut it back, he's outside the area as a FORWARD.

He drops deep and offers the team absolutely NOTHING. Terrible first touch, tries an aimless ball through losing possession, fouls their players, takes no-one on.

That was truly awful. First game we've got to in person for a while. Hats off to you all that sit through that spending your hard earnt cash.
I do personally think a better manager gets more out out of this squad.
What does Georginio need to do to start.
The ref was very poor, but we can't be relying on refs.
Zero progress from the days of Roberto despite forking out millions on new signings.
Sticking to affordable fixtures in the WSL going forward. Paying £40 for a kid to hurts with performances like that.
So much theatrics in the mens game too, which should be dealt with far better than it is.

"We played against a very disciplined team. We weren't clean enough in the first half and didn't force it enough. We did not have good box positioning and then we faced an opponent who tried to break the rhythm all the time. Then it's very difficult."

"When the referee says that he won't send a player off for time wasting that says it all really. I don't understand. When the rules are like this then you could send someone off. The referees should use it."

"We are honest with each other, self-critical and that is why we have to keep working. Next game we will analyse what went wrong, what we have to improve and keep going."

So how do we adapt to, and overcome, the low block? Lot of teams and coaches (including RDZ) struggle against it.
Start all guns blazing, moving the ball fast and getting that first goal. Look at Bournemouth, playing high intensity football from the off.
We play slow sluggish football between, JP, Dunk, Veltman on repeat and plays right into their hands. Niave tactics from Fab and I'm afraid, not starting Minteh and Georginio is totally bizarre.
